New Fashion Photography, Beauty Photography and Still Life Photography Portfolios are Just the Beginning!
Welcome to the newly redesigned www.andreaacailawen.com website! The site has an entirely new look, new features and a lot of new content that better represents my current body of work in beauty and fashion photography, related still life and product imagery, as well as my editorial and advertising work. Better yet, the site is has been streamlined for faster load times and lighter server usage. It can also adapt to display on a variety of mobile devices and browsers, making it easier to reach from anywhere. This redesign was long overdue, but I am thrilled to have the site relaunched with a new look, feel and functionality. I hope you like the changes, too!
New Site Features
Introducing New Beauty & Fashion Photography Portfolios
Speaking of new content, I mentioned new portfolios above. I’ve been meaning to add more of my beauty & fashion photography work to this site for quite some time. It’s a large portion of my work, but was most absent on this site until now. You will now find fashion photography portfolios and a new beauty photography portfolio featuring recent work in each area. You will also discover a broader still life photography portfolio section that goes beyond the food, drink and botanical work you’re used to seeing. It now includes fashion and beauty related still life and product photography work, as well!
New Horizontal Layout
Several main sections on this site feature a new horizontal layout for a better experience on today’s wide screen monitors and laptop displays. You’ll find this layout in the new portfolios and on the main blog page. The new layout makes scrolling through visual content more enjoyable and engaging. You can scroll with the scroll bar, your mouse wheel or by swiping actions on mobile devices. Site pages & single blog posts still offer the same vertical orientation your used to make reading easy.
A New Creative Blog
I will be including behind-the-scenes sneak peeks at my beauty and fashion photography work, creative insights on commercial and editorial photography, studio ideas, fashion and prop styling tips, still life photography suggestions, photography tips and advice, lighting diagrams, musings on the creative process and much more. And, of course, I’ll also be sharing a LOT of new work. You can expect to see much more frequent site updates and a much more active blog from here forward.
